Looking to fine-tune your kart or get valuable track time before race day? Our Open Test Days at Wombwell Karting are designed specifically for owner drivers, offering a full day of non-stop testing on one of the best outdoor kart circuits in the North.
Whether you’re running Rotax, IAME, Bambino, Cadet, Junior, or Senior karts, you’ll be welcomed here with open arms. Our open test days run from 10am to 6pm, with groups rotated to give every driver the space they need to focus on set-up, lines, and consistency. Track time is light-dependent and the paddock opens from 8am for sign-on and setup.
For race weekends, you’re welcome to arrive on Friday evening, with access allowed up to 8pm. This gives you time to settle in, set up, and be ready for Saturday testing and Sunday race day.
With a strong club community, electric hook-ups, overnight camping options, indoor viewing, and our popular on-site café, Wombwell Karting is one of the most accessible and friendly places to test your kart in Yorkshire.
