Wombwell Karting (W.K) is run at a Registered Motorsport UK circuit, where appropriate Motorsport UK rules will apply. These may be changed, varied or amended to suit W.K at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course and/or the organisers with consultation with the competitors.
If a change is made, adequate notice will be given so that Drivers/Mechanics and teams can make changes to comply with the new rules and regulations. Matters of safety will take immediate effect. Changes will be published on Facebook/Instagram @wombwellkarting.

All competitors MUST be registered club members to take part on a race day. Registration is £45 per year (Jan–Dec).
All drivers must have signed on to race before 9.30am on Sunday via AlphaTiming.
Drivers under 18 years must have their entry countersigned by a parent and/or guardian, who must be present for the duration of the event.
Proof of age: WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL MINORS ON THEIR FIRST VISIT TO THE CIRCUIT E.G. BIRTH CERTIFICATE, PASSPORT
By signing on, all competitors, parents and/or guardians understand and accept all risks involved at a practice or race day. It is also the responsibility of the competitor to explain the risks involved to anyone associated with them.
Drivers racing in cadets from 7 years old must provide evidence to prove they have competed in races elsewhere, a rookie race school etc or the Clerk of Clerk is satisfied that they are competent.
Drivers racing in more than one class must pay for each class.
The fees:
- Race Day – £60.00 (must be completed online by 12.30pm Wednesday prior to the event)
- Prior Test Day and Race Day – £105.00 (ONLY when completed by 12.30pm Wednesday prior to the event)
RACE ENTRIES MAY BE ACCEPTED after the deadline – drivers will run from the back of their class grid and an additional fee of £15 may be charged.
Grid positions will be determined by receipt of entry. The club reserves the right to amalgamate classes with the fastest at the front. All karts will start on the same lights. Where time permits, classes with a minimum of 6 entries will get their own race.
Race format will be either: laps or time plus a lap. Time qualifying may be introduced as an option with heats, pre-final and final, should time dictate and after consultation with drivers.
